Nature of the services

Matrescence by Veronica provides educational information, coaching and practical support relating to infant sleep, lactation and feeding, motherhood, return to work and family wellbeing.

The services are supportive and educational. They are not medical, psychiatric, psychological, psychotherapeutic, midwifery or emergency services.

 

No diagnosis or medical treatment

Information provided through this website, social-media content, messages, consultations, programmes or downloadable resources does not constitute:

• a medical diagnosis;

• medical or psychological treatment;

• a prescription or recommendation to start, stop or change medication;

• emergency assessment or emergency care;

• a replacement for an examination by an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.

Services do not replace advice, diagnosis or treatment from a doctor, paediatrician, midwife, nurse, psychologist, psychotherapist, physiotherapist, speech therapist, dietitian or another regulated healthcare professional.

Do not delay seeking professional healthcare because of information received from Matrescence by Veronica.

 

Lactation and feeding support

Lactation and feeding support is based on the information that you provide and is limited to the provider’s actual training and professional scope.

Any concern involving illness, infection, significant pain, poor weight gain, dehydration, oral or anatomical problems, medication, allergy, premature birth, developmental concerns or another potentially medical issue must be assessed by an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.

No guarantee is given regarding milk supply, feeding method, infant weight gain, breastfeeding duration or another clinical outcome.

 

Infant sleep support

Infant sleep support provides educational and behavioural guidance. It does not diagnose or treat medical, respiratory, neurological, developmental or psychological conditions.

Parents and legal guardians remain responsible for their child’s supervision, sleep environment, safety and medical care. Recommendations must be adapted where a doctor or another qualified professional has provided individual medical advice.

No particular sleep duration, number of night wakings or programme result can be guaranteed.

 

Coaching

Coaching is not psychotherapy, psychiatric care or crisis intervention. Coaching does not diagnose or treat depression, anxiety, trauma, postpartum mental-health conditions or another mental-health disorder.

Where a concern appears to fall outside the scope of coaching, you may be advised to contact a doctor, psychotherapist, psychologist, psychiatrist or another appropriate professional.

 

Referral and service limits

Matrescence by Veronica may decline, pause or end a service and recommend professional assessment where:

• the matter appears to require medical diagnosis or treatment;

• symptoms or circumstances fall outside the provider’s training or professional scope;

• there is a possible risk to a baby, child or adult;

• emergency, safeguarding or significant mental-health concerns arise;

• sufficient and reliable information has not been provided;

• remote support is not appropriate for the situation.

A referral recommendation does not itself constitute a diagnosis.

 

Emergencies

Matrescence by Veronica does not provide emergency assistance and does not continuously monitor messages.

In Germany:

• Call 112 where a situation is life-threatening or there is a risk of serious or permanent harm.

• Call 116117 for urgent medical assistance outside normal medical-practice hours when the situation is not life-threatening.

Outside Germany, contact the emergency or urgent-care service applicable in your location.

Do not use a website form, email, WhatsApp, social-media message or booking system to request emergency assistance.

 

Individual responsibility

You are responsible for deciding whether and how to implement general information and recommendations, obtaining appropriate medical care and informing Matrescence by Veronica about relevant professional advice or safety concerns.
