Career coaching for the mother—and leader—you are becoming

Returning to work after becoming a mother is not simply a diary change. Your identity, priorities, energy, ambition, relationships and tolerance for old ways of working may all have shifted. Coaching gives you a confidential space to think clearly, make decisions and practise the conversations that will shape your next chapter.

Coaching can support you when…

You do not need to be in crisis or have a perfectly defined goal. It is enough to know that the old way no longer fits.

You are preparing to return after maternity or parental leave and want a plan for workload, visibility, childcare, feeding, boundaries and the first 90 days.

You feel torn between ambition and guilt, or worry that motherhood has changed how colleagues perceive your commitment.

You are deciding whether to stay, change role, reduce hours, seek promotion, negotiate flexibility or start something of your own.

You are a manager or senior leader trying to lead well with less uninterrupted time and a different definition of success.

You carry the invisible load at home and find that work boundaries collapse because you are always compensating somewhere.

You want language for difficult conversations with your manager, partner, team or yourself.

You miss parts of your pre-motherhood identity and want to build a version of work and family life that feels like yours.

You do not have to choose between caring and ambition.

The work is not to return to exactly who you were before. It is to understand what has changed, decide what matters now and design choices, boundaries and leadership habits that match your current life.

THE APPROACH

What we can work on

Each coaching process is shaped around your situation. Sessions are reflective but practical: we clarify what is happening, identify the decision or behaviour within your control and turn insight into an action you can test.

Return-to-work preparation and a realistic 30/60/90-day plan.

Identity, confidence, guilt, ambition and the emotional transition of matrescence.

Career decisions, role changes, promotion, reduced hours, flexibility and negotiation preparation.

Leadership presence, stakeholder management, delegation and visibility after leave.

Boundaries with work, family, availability, travel and mental load.

...and much more.

WHAT IS INCLUDED

One-to-one online sessions of 60 minutes in English or Spanish.

A confidential, non-judgemental space focused on your goals and decisions.

Practical exercises, reflection prompts or conversation preparation when useful.

A clear action or experiment at the end of each session.

Optional multi-session packages for deeper work and accountability.

An approach informed by senior HR, People leadership and executive coaching—not generic productivity advice.

What coaching includes

THE PROCESS

How we work together

01

Clarify the question.

We define what you want from the session or process, even when the starting point is “I feel stuck”

02

Explore what is underneath.

We separate facts, assumptions, expectations, values, fear and other people’s demands.

03

Choose an action.

You leave with a decision, conversation, boundary or small experiment that moves the situation forward.

04

Review and build.

In a package, we use each session to learn from what happened and strengthen the next step.

FAQ

SCOPE - WHAT COACHING IS AND IS NOT

Coaching supports reflection, decision-making, behaviour change and professional development. It is not psychotherapy, psychiatric care, medical advice, legal advice or crisis support. If you are experiencing persistent low mood, anxiety, trauma symptoms, thoughts of self-harm, domestic abuse, workplace harassment requiring formal advice or another concern outside coaching scope, I will encourage you to contact an appropriate qualified professional or emergency service. Coaching confidentiality is also subject to legal and safety limits explained before we begin.

YOUR NEXT CHAPTER DOES NOT NEED TO BE A COPY OF THE LAST ONE.
