Gentle baby sleep support for real family life

You do not need a rigid schedule, a perfect bedtime routine or a method that asks you to ignore your baby. You need to understand what may be affecting sleep, decide what feels right for your family and have someone beside you while you make gradual, realistic changes.

I support families with babies and toddlers from the newborn stage to age 3 through a responsive, developmentally informed approach that protects connection and considers the whole family.

This support may be right for you if…

Sleep has become a source of exhaustion, conflict or constant second-guessing, and generic advice is not working in your home.

Your baby wakes frequently and you want to understand what is normal, what may be changeable and where to begin.

Bedtime takes a long time, naps feel unpredictable or your toddler resists sleep.

Your baby currently needs feeding, movement, contact or one specific parent to fall asleep, and you would like more options without removing comfort overnight.

You are navigating a regression, nap transition, travel, daycare, illness recovery, a new sibling or a return to work.

You want both parents or caregivers to become more involved in settling and night support.

You are not looking for cry-it-out, controlled crying or a one-size-fits-all schedule.

You are not failing because your baby wakes.

Baby sleep is developmental and variable. The goal is not to make your child behave like a textbook baby; it is to understand the current pattern and build a plan that improves rest while remaining emotionally and practically sustainable.

THE APPROACH

A gentle, responsive approach

I look at sleep in context: age and development, daytime rhythm, sleep environment, feeding, health information already assessed by your healthcare team, family routines, parental capacity and the way your child currently falls asleep.

No leaving your baby to cry alone and no requirement to stop breastfeeding, bed-sharing or contact sleep as a condition of support.

No generic wake-window chart presented as a diagnosis or guarantee.

Gradual changes chosen with you, adapted to your baby’s temperament and your family’s values.

Realistic expectations about night waking, developmental change and the fact that progress is rarely linear.

Practical support for the parents too, including roles, boundaries, rest opportunities and what is genuinely manageable.

WHAT IS INCLUDED

What the 4–6 week programme includes

THE PROCESS

How we work together

01

Understand the full picture.

You complete the intake and tell me what sleep looks like now, what you have already tried and what must remain non-negotiable for your family.

02

Choose the first priorities.

We clarify what is developmentally realistic and decide which two or three changes are most likely to help without overwhelming you.

03

Implement gradually.

You put the plan into practice with weekly WhatsApp support and scheduled calls. We adjust based on your child’s response and your capacity.

04

Consolidate.

We review progress, troubleshoot the remaining pressure points and leave you with a flexible plan for the next stage.

FAQ

SCOPE, REFERRARLS & URGENT CARE

Sleep support is educational and practical. It does not diagnose or treat medical, developmental, feeding or mental-health conditions and does not replace your paediatrician, midwife, GP, IBCLC or other regulated healthcare professional. Where symptoms, growth, breathing, pain, reflux concerns, extreme parental distress or another red flag may require assessment, I will recommend contacting the appropriate professional. In an emergency, contact local emergency services.
